STANDARD TERMS, CONDITIONS, POLICIES AND RENTAL AGREEMENT
This Agreement is entered into between Bucks Lake Resort Timberline Inn and the
Guest for the rental of accommodations at Bucks Lake Resort Timberline Inn 16252 Bucks Lake
Rd Quincy, CA 95971. By reserving a room, Guest agrees to the terms and conditions outlined.
Guest acknowledges the Inn is a 2-story motel. There is a ground level and a second level which is only
accessible by a flight of stairs. The Inn operates with self-check-in and check-out procedures. There is no
staff on the premises.
Check-In: 3:00 PM
Check-Out 11:00 AM
Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability and additional
charges of $25 per early or late arrival or departure.
No gatherings and parties of any nature are allowed in the room. The Property reserves the right to evict
any additional occupants in the room.
This reservation is not transferable.
There is no smoking, vaping, marijuana, drugs, weapons or fires allowed on any part of the property.
Due to natures surroundings, the WIFI may have outages.
The property is located in the Plumas National Forest home to bears, deer, bugs, and other wildlife. Do
not leave children unsupervised. It is your responsibility to store food, leftovers and garbage in closed
locked areas. DO NOT FEED ANIMALS.
In the event of no-show, reservation for the entire stay (inclusive of any applicable prevailing
government tax) will be charged to your credit card provided at the time of reservation or as per any
revised conditions of booking as per the offer.
The Property reserves the right to send guests away from the Property due to their conduct and
behavior or for any other safety, security, medical reasons. This applies in particular, if Guests do not
observe instructions given by Property employees, express themselves in a discriminating manner,
harass or endanger other guests.
Guest Responsibilities: Conduct: Guest agrees to comply with all Bucks Lake Resort Timberline Inn rules,
including quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and strict adherence to the no-smoking, no vaping, no-
marijuana, and no-fires policy. Smoking including cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaping, marijuana, or any
other smoking devices, is strictly prohibited in rooms, common areas, or anywhere on the property,
Violations will result in but are not limited to: A $250 deep cleaning fee, Immediate eviction without
refund, Potential additional charges for damages (e.g., odor removal) No Fires: Open fires are strictly
prohibited on the property at all times. Trailer and Boat Parking: No trailer or boat parking is available
onsite due to limited space and no room to turn around. Offsite trailer and boat parking may be
available nearby, contact the Inn for details. Damages: Guest is responsible for any damage or loss of
property during their stay. Damages will be charged to the credit or debit card on file. Personal
Property: The Inn is not liable for loss or damage to Guests personal property. Guests are advised to
secure valuables at all times. Pet Policy: No pets are allowed on the property, except for service animals
as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Guests will not be permitted to compromise the health, safety and security aspects of the Property at
any point of time.
Special terms of offer will be applicable for the respective bookings and in case of conflict, the terms of
such special offers will prevail.
In case of conflict in the actual bill provided to you after the receipt of services, the terms of the bill will
prevail.
Neatness and hygiene should be adequately maintained by the Guest. The Guest should always adhere
to the safety, security and hygiene advise duly provided by the Property and should avoid breaching the
same. The Guest will be solely responsible for any such violation if identified.
All the assets and valuables of the Property should be duly maintained adequately and should not be
damaged or destroyed. The Property has the discretion to levy any charges in future if it is proven
beyond doubt that such damage/destruction to the asset of the Property (both movable and
immovable) have been done or caused by the Guest.
If you have any allergies, sensitivities or intolerance to, but not limited to: a particular fabric, material,
cleaning product or food, it is the guests responsibility to advise Property management prior to arrival.
Your valuables are solely your responsibility.
Management and staff work hard to provide a safe and secure environment. We do everything possible
to ensure a secure environment is maintained and we ask that our guests do also. The Property takes no
responsibility for any personal possessions that are lost, stolen or misplaced whilst on the premises due
to the acts and omissions of the guests themselves.
Lost property found on the premises is logged and kept in a secure location. Thereafter items are either
disposed of or donated to charity. The Property accepts no responsibility for contacting individuals in
relation to lost property.
Lost items can be collected from the Property with valid identification or alternatively the Property can
arrange postage on behalf of the guest at their expense.
The Company reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
In the event that any changes are made, the revised terms and conditions shall be posted on this
website immediately. Please check the latest information posted herein to inform yourself of any
changes.
We do our best to ensure reservation arrangements are satisfactory, however, the Property does not
accept any liability for any loss financial or otherwise, travel delay, injury, damage, additional expenses
or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond our control. These
include, but not limited to, flight delays or cancellations, civil disturbance, defects in vehicles, strikes,
theft, acts of terrorism, natural disaster, war, fire, floods, acts of God, acts of Government or of any
other authorities, changes to Government regulations, accident to or failure of machinery or equipment,
maintenance requirements or industrial action. Guests assume all risks associated with their stay.

Room Rates vary and are listed per night, plus applicable taxes and fees. All rates are subject to change
per local regulations. 2-night minimum stay is required during the weekend described as Friday and
Saturday or Saturday and Sunday, unless otherwise noted. Taxes and fees include but are not limited to
7.25% Plumas County Sales Tax, 9% Plumas County Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT), 2% Feather River
Tourism Management District Tax (FRTMD). Guest acknowledges responsibility for payment of the
Plumas County Transient Occupancy Tax as required. Accepted Forms of payment are credit and debit
cards. A credit will be required on file for incidentals. Full payment will be due on the check-in and can
be charged within 7 days prior to check-in date. Guest agrees to provide accurate registration
information as required by Plumas County and California law (e.g./ Chapter 5.26, Hotel Rates and
Registration Requirements). This information will be retained for 4 years for tax and legal purposes.
Guest acknowledges that registration information and Bucks Lake Resort Timberline Inn are subject to
audit and inspection by Plumas County authorities..

This terms, conditions, policies and rental agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.
Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Plumas County, California.
By completing the reservation process, Guest acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to
abide by the terms of these terms, conditions, policies and rental agreement.
Payment Policy
At check-in we may pre-authorize a credit card for any charges we determine that you may be likely to
incur during your stay. This pre-authorization may also include an amount to cover a security
bond/deposit for damages or incidental charges you may incur during your stay
The amount we pre-authorize will depend on the length of your stay. No money is taken from your
credit card; however, it will show as a pending transaction. The authorization of your card will last the
length of your stay. Card refunds generally take between 3-10 working days to process, and pre-
authorization releases take up to 31 days to process, depending on the individual bank policies.
***PRE-PAYMENT POLICY
Depending on the prepaid rate you have booked, prepayment of the full amount may be required to
secure your booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Standard Rate:
Cancellation is free of charge 7 days prior to the date of arrival, after this time we charge you 100% the
room rate as cancellation fee.
As we are a small business, late cancellations and no-shows really affect our business, therefore our
cancellation policy is:
14+ days prior to “Check-in” - no cancellation fees apply and a refund of the total amount shall be
granted.
Within 14 days of arrival - 50% refund of the total amount shall be granted.
No shows and cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will incur 100% charge of the booking.
There may be additional applicable charges and taxes.

The Bucks Lake Resort Timberline Inn is located on the right-hand side of Bucks Lake Road heading
north. The driveway will lead you approximately 200 yards up to the Inn. Located 17 miles southwest of
Quincy, CA and 47 miles northeast of Oroville on Oroville-Bucks Lake Road. Bucks Lake is less than 80
miles from Chico, CA and Marysville, CA.
